Unceasing the Engine: Unceasing the engine was the biggest problem with the engine. It was something that we all had to think about doing though. We could decide on upgrading the engine as well. One of the options was to bore out the engine. Boring out the engine was a serous consideration which is between the amount of $400 - $600. What Boring out an engine does is increase torque and HP, something that isn't necessary but is nice to have on a bike. But seeing that our limit of pay was $1000 we decided that it we should just keep the engine stock.
Exhaust Pipes: The exhaust pipe is also something that needed to be replaced. The exhaust pipe cone that was initially on the bike had a whole bunch of holes and was rusted out and was no good to use anymore. We had to make the choice of getting a new exhaust pipe or just a new cone. What we could have done was got a whole new exhaust pipe 2-1 XS performance head pipe set which would cost $215. Or we could just get a XS Performance Reverse Cone Megaphone Muffler which would cost $65. The conclusion was to just get a cone and wash the rest of the pipe. We saved $150 and the exhaust pipe looks good as new.
